These black 4 x 40 mm screws for oak and garapa wood have a special anti-rust coating (AR-coating) that also provides excellent protection against tannic acid. The screw has been treated with an organic protective coating, making it just as rust-resistant as a regular A2 stainless steel screw. The difference is that this screw is made of hardened steel, which is at least 2 times as strong as regular stainless steel screws. In addition to oak and garapa wood, the screws can also be used with red cedar, kapur, and accoya wood.
