Deck screws stainless steel A4 stainless steel - 4.0 x 50 mm - Torx 15 - Box 200 pieces
If you want to build a beautiful deck at home, you can choose from various types of decking boards. You can choose from Classic Larch decking boards (14.5 or 19.5 cm wide) with groove, level decking boards, Hardwood decking boards (with or without groove) and WPC decking boards.
This choice determines which type of screws you need. We recommend using stainless steel 410 if you do not live near a coastal area and do not choose hardwood boards, because stainless steel 410 is not very resistant to tannic acids. A4 stainless steel (as well as AR-coated) are resistant to tannic acids, moreover, A4 stainless steel is more corrosion resistant than both types and our recommendation for coastal areas and decking around a swimming pool.
What makes this screw so unique
These deck screws are made of high quality A4 stainless steel which makes them Suitable for all types of boards (including tannic hardwood boards) and have excellent corrosion resistance.
The deck screws stainless steel A4 stainless steel are equipped with a narrow, Countersunk Head with milling ribs under the head. This allows the screw to countersink into the wood for virtually invisible fastening. It is also equipped with the TY-17 tip which prevents wood glueing, making your deck boards look like new even after fastening.
Although the deck screws stainless steel A4 are slightly softer than the 410 stainless steel variant, this is still a strong screw. With pre-drilling with a hardwood drill bits of 3.5 mm thick, you can still secure these screws without the risk of breaking on any type of plank. Thanks to the special waxed coating and the shank ribs that make it easier to screw in the screws, a decking is installed in no time at all. In addition to various types of deck screws (stainless steel 410, AR coated and A4 stainless steel), we also have a universal spacer. This allows you to always determine the correct distance from plank to plank. To always install the screws in one straight line, we recommend using a decking liner. We offer these in a 14.5 cm variant and a 19.5 cm variant. You will find this deck liner and the spacers under the spacers.
Finally, we also offer countersink drill bits, paving supports and deck supports on. Here we recommend countersink drill bits with depth stop, because this way you always screw in the screws at the same depth for the best finish. As for the paving supports, they are recommended as an intermediate layer between the substructure of your terrace and the surface material. It protects the substructure and has a sound-damping effect. The deck screws are for laying your deck completely level.
