Then it is necessary to pre-drill. Marking is easy by holding the beam in the right place and marking the mounting holes with a pencil. Remove the joist hanger and you can start drilling. Because the joist hangers are made of galvanised steel it is important that they are not damaged. In this way you prevent the joist hangers from oxidizing.

This joist hanger has 43 mounting holes to fix, the hole pattern of which is: 34 holes of 5 mm, 1 hole of 7 mm, 4 holes of 9 mm and 4 holes of 13 mm.

How strong is this joist hanger?
