Wood putty is primarily intended for indoor use only. The tube makes it easier to apply with a putty knife. Perfect adhesion to wood, yet it can also be used perfectly on other surface materials. Application area of wood putty
.Wood putty is primarily intended, of course, for filling holes, cracks, chinks etc. in Wood. However, it can also be used on other surface materials. However, we recommend using this product only indoors. Wood putty can be used for the following purposes:
- Filling and repairing cracks, seams and holes in various places. For example ceilings, walls, doors, frames etc.
- For creating a smoother and less absorbent surface .
- For filling cracks, chinks, tears, holes, etc. before painting.
Wood putty use advice
For good results, we recommend following our self-made step-by-step plan. This will greatly reduce the risk of mistakes!
- Is the surface painted? Then sand where possible.
- Apply the putty using the tube and a putty knife. Try to smooth it out as much as possible using your putty knife.
- Let the whole thing dry thoroughly. This usually takes 1 to 2 hours, entirely depending on the thickness. Once it is completely dry, it is paintable. Always keep at least 2 hours to be sure.
Note! Do not process this product at a temperature below 7 degrees Celsius. Clean tools with water.
