Staples Type 140 Galvanised 8 mm - Box 2000 pieces

With these galvanised staples, you can staple a wide range of materials. These are type 140 staples, which means they are made of a medium wire, that is wide and flat. The wide wire is stronger than the fine wire of type 53 staples. The result is that these staples can fasten thicker and tougher materials, such as carpet. The 8 mm legs of the staples are equipped with sharp tips, so the staples will easily slide into the material.

Are you not sure yet whether this is the right size staple? A rule of thumb is that the legs should be three times as long as the thickness of the material you are going to attach. Of course, there are some exceptions. For example, if you are fastening something to hardwood, the length should be twice as long. Additionally, if you are attaching very thin materials, like a foil, the legs should be at least 4 mm longer than the thickness of the foil.
