This is also known as a wooden frame. Then you can apply the Bubble foil insulation. Always work from left to right and start at the bottom. Securing the foil using Stainless steel staples with a minimum length of 20 mm. Fastening with glue alone is not sufficient. Always ensure that the different parts of Bubble foil insulation overlap by at least 100-150 mm for the best insulation. Finally, cut to size with a sharp knife and finish the overlap with insulation tape.

Please note! This bubble foil consists mainly of LDPE. This material is less resistant to all kinds of wood acids. This can corrode the foil, which will reduce its insulating function. Therefore, Wovar recommends to always apply a layer of bubble foil insulation between the foil and the battens in order to keep the insulation optimal.
