Adjustable Corner Bracket for Decks 23 cm - Per piece

These corner brackets can be used to connect beams on concrete piers that will form the load-bearing structure for a deck. They have an adjustable angle, so you can adapt the angle to suit your needs. The angle can be a minimum of 90° and a maximum of 150°. You can make visual markers on the beam bracket to facilitate determining the correct angle. The bracket is also available in a smaller version of 12 cm.

Adjustable beam brackets

The corner bracket is suitable for 235 to 310 mm wide, wooden beams. The bracket is made of Galvanised steel, which is an incredibly strong material. As long as the zinc layer is not damaged, the bracket is also protected against rust.

Installing corner brackets

To attach the corner brackets to a wooden surface, you can choose between chipboard screws or flat head nails.

When using screws:

• 28 chipboard screws Ø 5.0 x 40 mm
• Or  14 chipboard screws Ø 8.0 mm

When using nails:

• 28 flat head nails Ø 4.0 x 50 mm

The screws or nails are used to fasten the vertical section of the bracket. The chipboard screws Ø 5 or nails Ø 4 are meant for the 28 small mounting holes. The chipboard screws with a diameter of 8 mm are meant for the 14 big mounting holes in the vertical section.

On a concrete surface:

• 2 anchor bolts M12
• Or 1 anchor bolt M16

In the horizontal section of the brackets, you can use anchor bolts, either 2 M12 bolts or 1 M16 bolt. The best choice depends on the weight the bracket will have to bear, and the position of the bracket (distance to the edge of the pier, chosen angle).
