Privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, is processed through our webshop. Wovar BV considers careful handling of personal data to be of utmost importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

When using our web shop, we obtain certain information from you. This can be personal data. We only keep and use the personal data provided directly by you, in the context of the service you have requested, or of which it is clear that they are provided to us for processing.

REGISTER

You must first register for certain parts of our webshop. After registration, we save the personal data you have provided alongside the username you have chosen. We store this information internally, so you do not have to enter it every time, and so we can contact you in the context of the execution of the agreement.

We will not provide the data linked to your username to third parties, unless this is necessary in regard to the agreement that you accept with us, or if this is required by law. In case of suspicion, fraud or abuse of our webshop, we can hand over personal data to the competent authorities.

HANDLING YOUR ORDER

CONTACT FORM AND NEWSLETTER

Via our web shop, we offer the possibility to ask questions by means of a contact form, where you are asked to fill in certain information to deal with your question. You choose which information you provide. The data that you send us will be kept for as long as is deemed necessary according to the form or the content of your e-mail, with regard to the complete answering and processing thereof.

Furthermore, we offer a newsletter, through which we wish to inform interested parties about our products and / or services. Every newsletter contains a link through which you may unsubscribe. Your email address will automatically be added to the list of subscribers.

LOCATION DETAILS

If necessary for the service, we may collect location data (GPS) from you. Your permission will be requested for this at the appropriate time.

This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation / map software, such as Google Maps. However, the data may also be used by Google or Apple itself, for example. We ourselves have no control over this. As such, we recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements of the respective provider.

APP STORE

The app providing the service has been downloaded from a third party app store. This means that we have no control over which personal data the provider processes, and to what end. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements of the respective provider.

We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our webshop. We have entered into a processor agreement with Google to make agreements about the handling of our data. SECURITY

We take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorised access to personal data. In particular, we take the following measures:

• Access to personal data is protected with a username and password;
• We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) with which all information between you and our website is protected when you enter personal data;
• We keep logs of all requests for personal data.

DATA RETENTION

The personal data described above is stored for as long as necessary to process your orders, including warranty. After that, we keep data for a maximum of one year for the statistical purposes described. The data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage (such as the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for payment data).

This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties that are connected to our webshop through links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner akin to ours. We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you regularly consult this privacy statement, so you are aware of these changes.

INSPECTION AND CHANGES OF YOUR DATA

For questions about our privacy policy or questions about access and changes to (or deletion of) your personal data, you may contact us at any time using the information below.

If you want to inspect the personal data that Wovar BV has recorded about you or if you want to change data because it is incorrect or incomplete, or if you want to have it removed, you may contact Wovar BV. Wovar BV will inform you within four weeks which of your personal data it processes, and whether it can or will comply with any request for removal, protection, or improvement.

In order to prevent abuse, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it comes to access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in the settings of your browser. If the data is incorrect, you can request us to change the data or have it removed.

We are happy to help you resolve any complaints which you may have regarding the processing of your personal data. Under the privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority against the processing of personal data.
