Black door handles with backplate aluminium block model - Per Set

Very solid and Modern are these beautiful black door handles in block model which provide a wide grip. Due to the blind shield, the shield can be used for doors that do not need to be locked, think of interior doors. It is important to choose the right variant locking method of the door handle backplate to match your door lock. You measure the correct size by measuring the centre-to-centre distance from door handle to keyhole.

Available sizes in this are:

Blind; suitable for interior doors that are not lockable, so-called wicket doors
SL56; suitable for keyhole with a centre-to-centre distance to door handle of 56 mm
SL72; suitable for keyhole with a centre-to-centre distance to door handle of 72 mm
PC55; Suitable for cylinder lock with a centre-to-centre distance to door handle of 55 mm
PC72; Suitable for cylinder lock with a centre-to-centre distance to door handle of 72 mm

Door hardware black on shield

This set includes two door handles and two handle backplates. Door handle backplates measure 18 x 4.1 x 0.65 cm and are Modern Black in colour. The door handles are also black and have a length of 11.5 cm. After mounting, the door handles protrude 6 cm from the door backplates. One door handle has a pre-assembled door handle pin and can be connected to the loose door handle with the supplied fixing ball. 

Note: Further fasteners are not included! We recommend Black screws 4 x 25 mm ò or our black patent screws . You will find these fasteners in the corresponding articles. You will also need a 3 mm Allen key to secure the fixing ball.

Fixing black door handles to door

In the steps below, we explain how to attach these black door handles with door handles. Here we assume that you have already installed mortise locks in your doors. Do you not have these yet? Then make sure you order them along. You proceed as follows:

1. First, hold the mortise lock next to the door and mark the handle backplate holes on the door.

2. Drill the hole for the door handle.
3. Place the door handle backplate against the door on both sides of the door.

4. Draw the mounting holes of the door handle backplates with a Carpenter's pencil.
5. Drill these holes lightly using a 2 mm hardwood drill bit for screws or a 4 mm drill bit for patent bolts.
6. Fix the Door handle backplates to the door using the Black screws or patent bolts. 
7. Place the door handle with the handle spindle in the door and attach the loose door handle to it with the provided fixing ball. Tighten firmly with a 3 mm Allen key.
