You can also use the smaller mounting holes in combination with our black screws. These mounting holes are 4 millimeters, so you can use our black garden screws of 4 x 50 mm. The black colour of these screws is the same as that of the joist hanger, creating a nice uniform look. With joist hangers, you have more mounting holes than a standard beam bracket. This variant of the joist hanger has 55 screw holes. Because this joist hanger is black in colour, you do not necessarily have to hide it, but you can leave it in plain sight. This gives a beautiful rustic look to the roof.
