Insulating foil easy to apply yourself

Wovar's Bubble foil insulation is very easy to apply yourself. Before you start insulating, place a wooden framework on the inside wall. This is also known as the wooden frame. Then apply the foil insulation. Always work from left to right and start at the bottom. Apply the foil using Stainless steel staples at least 20 mm long. Staple the foil every 25 cm. When mounting always use staples and never just glue, so that the Bubble foil insulation is well secured. When installing the foil insulation, always ensure an overlap of about 100-150 mm. Using a sharp knife, you can then cut the insulation foil to size and finish it off with foil tape.

Please note! Bubble foil is mainly made of LDPE material, which is less resistant to wood acids. This can cause the foil to deteriorate. It is therefore recommended to use foil tape as a protective layer between the battening and the Bubble foil insulation. This prevents the loss of the insulating function of the bubble foil insulation.
