Builders Band Galvanised 20 x 1.5 mm - 10 m Roll

This 20 x 1.5 mm builders band is made of galvanised steel. It is often used for hanging duct work, as well as many other construction applications. The metal straps are easy to bend into the required shape, after which you secure them with an M6 bolt. Other examples of builders band usage are joist strutting, fencing repairs, and frame fixing. This is why builders band is also referred to as fixing band or multipurpose fixing band.

Galvanised steel

Builders band helps to firmly secure a structure and protect it from movement caused by, for example, strong winds. The fixing band contains two types of mounting holes: 4 mm holes and 6 mm holes. Use full-threaded screws 3.5 mm for the mounting holes with a diameter of 4 mm. If you want to fast the metal strap using the 6 mm mounting holes, use M6 carriage bolts.
