Builders Band Galvanised 60 x 2 mm - 25 m Roll

This 60 x 2 mm builders band is made of galvanised steel. It is often used for hanging duct work, as well as many other construction applications. The metal straps are easy to bend into the required shape, after which you secure them with a screw or bolt. Other examples of builders band usage are joist strutting, fencing repairs, and frame fixing. This is why builders band is also referred to as fixing band or multipurpose fixing band.

Galvanised steel

Builders band helps to firmly secure a structure and protect it from movement caused by, for example, strong winds. The fixing band has a length of 25 m. The metal strap is 60 mm wide and 2 mm thick. The galvanised steel, provided it is not damaged, protects against corrosion. On top of that, the builders band contains an incredible number of mounting holes, so the strap can be fastened wherever you need.

The pattern of the mounting holes alternates between two smaller ones and one larger hole. The distance between the holes is approximately 2 cm. For the 5 mm mounting holes, use 4 mm full-threaded screws. The larger mounting holes can be used with an M6 x 30 carriage bolt.
