The chipboard screws from Wovar are made of strong galvanised steel. The 6x220 mm chipboard screw has a Torx 30 drive and a countersunk head. The galvanised chipboard screws are packed in boxes of 100 pieces. It is recommended to use matching Wovar Torx 30 bits for fastening the screw, in order to prevent damage.

The countersunk head of the Wovar chipboard screws sink nicely into the wood while installing the screw. The milling ribs on the underside of the head ensure that the screw is pulled forcefully into the wood. The galvanised chipboard screws 6 x 220 mm are partly threaded. This makes the screw very suitable for wood on wood constructions. Because of the partial wire, the wood pulls hard against each other.

At the end of the screw, the thread is interrupted by a kind of saw cut. This saw cut ensures that the screws have a cutting point.
