Installing a sliding door system
Below, you will find a concise step-by-step guide on how to install the sliding door system. For a more detailed explanation, please consult the supplied manual.
Step 1: Determine where you want the rails and mark the mounting holes with a pencil.
Step 2: Pre-drill the holes. In a hardwood wall, you can do this with a 5.5 mm hardwood drill bit and in a stone or concrete wall with a 10 mm masonry drill bit.
Step 3: Fasten the rails to the wall with the steel supports in between. Remember to slide the two steel door stops with rubber bumper caps over the rails before attaching the outer two bolts. You will fasten these in the last step.
Step 4: Secure the door guide to the floor.
Step 5: Decide where on the door you want the rollers and mark the mounting holes with a pencil.
Step 6: Drill the holes in the door and fasten the rollers.
Step 7: Next, determine the best position for the spacers on top of the door and attach them.
Step 8: Carefully place the door on the rails.
Step 9: Slide the steel door stops to the desired position and fix them in this spot.
