Angle Bracket Black with Rib 90 x 90 x 60 mm - Per Piece

The black coated corner brackets are suitable for beams from a thickness of 6 cm. This galvanised steel corner bracket is extra strong thanks to the rib reinforcement in the centre of the bracket. The black coating provides a beautiful finish.

The angle bracket is easy to attach, because it has 22 mounting holes and an elongated mounting hole. The different sizes of the holes are: 6 of 4 mm, 11 of 6 mm, 4 of 9 mm and 1 of 11 mm. The elongated hole of this angle bracket is 11 x 30 mm.

Which fasteners do I need?

Use chipboard screws and coach screw bolts to assemble these black corner brackets. Use our chipboard screws in the smaller holes. For the 4 mm hole use a 4 mm thick screw, for the 6 mm hole use a 5 mm thick chipboard screw. Installing the chipboard screws is easy with our strong torx bits.

For the larger holes of the black corner bracket, use our lag screws. In the 9 mm thick hole you place an M8 lag screw, choose for the 11 mm hole for a coach screw M10.

Fixing the coach screws can be done with a spanner or a socket wrench. M10 requires a size 17, and an M8 requires a size 13 spanner. Drilling pilot holes is highly recommended when working with coach screws. Always drill a hole two sizes smaller than the size coach screw you will be working with. For an M8 screw, this means using a hardwood drill bit 6 mm. For an M10, use an 8 mm hardwood drill bit.
