Corten Steel Planter 50 x 50 x 50 cm - Per piece
Are you looking for a corten steel plant pot for your flowers and plants? You might have found it in this 50 x 50 x 50 cm planter. Corten steel allows your plant pot to rust, but stops the corrosion before it can damage the planter, leaving you with a beautifully rust-coloured material. It blends in nicely with its natural surroundings. This cubic plant pot fits 125 litres. The thickness of the steel is 1.5 mm, with an upper edge of 2.5 cm.
Assembling a corten steel plant pot
The assembly of the planter is made easy by the included fasteners and spanner. Simply position the sides perpendicular to each other and secure them with the bolts, nuts, and spanner. Do the same with the others sides and the bottom. When placing the plant pot in your garden, make sure the surface is solid, so the planter will sink into the ground as little as possible.
NEW! We now also offer rust accelerator. This rust accelerator gives your new corten steel edging its signature colour within one day. You can find it between the corresponding products. Simply apply the rust accelerator with a sponge, and they will be completely oxidised in approximately 10 hours.
Filling a corten steel planter
The bottom of the plant pot contains a hole, allowing excess water to flow away. In addition to that, we recommend filling the planter with potting soil, which contains more air, resulting in better drainage.
Note: products made of corten steel can lightly stain the surfaces they are in contact with when it is raining during the first few days. This might cause stains on your pavement or deck. We therefore recommend placing the plant pot on a surface where this is not a problem, or underneath a canopy.
