The cupboard lock consists of the lock, a counter plate and a matching key. It comes excluding fasteners, but here you can easily order our chipboard screws galvanised 3 x 20 mm for it. You will then only need a screwdriver or power drill with a Torx TX10 bit 

In addition, you will need a 4 mm and 7 mm hardwood drill for drilling the keyhole.

Mounting the cupboard lock

You will need: a pencil, a tape measure or ruler, a file, a 4 mm and 7 mm hardwood drill bit.

• Place the lock at the desired height on the inside of the door
• Draw a line at the bottom of the lock to the outside of the door
• From the drawn line, go 15 mm high and 20 mm deep into the door
• This is centre of the keyhole
• Drill a hole with the 7 mm hardwood drill bits
• Then, from the bottom of the hole, drill a 10 mm down drill down from the bottom of the hole using the 4 mm hardwood drill bit
• Check that the key fits properly and file the hole if necessary
• Fix the lock permanently to the inside of the door
• Finally attach the counter plate parallel to the lap on the inside of the cupboard
