Cylinder locks 30 - 45 mm with SKG CE Certificate
.This 30 - 45 mm euro cylinder has a total length of 75 mm and is suitable for doors with a thickness of 55 mm. The profile cylinders have a hole for the supplied cylinder screw, this hole is under the carrier where there is 30 mm space on one side and just 45 mm length on the other side. There is no need to hire a locksmith for this, just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open the door. On the head side of the door, at the level of the old cylinder lock, you will see a cross-headed screw.
Last chance!
Step 2: Using a screwdriver, loosen this cylinder screw and remove it from the mortise lock.
Step 3:Insert the key into the cylinder lock and turn it a little Piece. By pulling slightly, you will notice that the lock is loosened after which you can remove the cylinder lock completely from the door.
Step 4: Insert the key into the new cylinder lock and turn the key slightly so that the Black "carrier" disappears into the cylinder lock.
Step 5:Press the new cylinder lock into the mortise lock of your door and turn the key so that the lock is activated
Step 6: Using a screwdriver, turn the new cylinder screw provided into the hole provided so that the cylinder lock is anchored into the door.
Our advice is never to loosen and tighten the screws with the drill, but with a screwdriver loosen and tighten them. This prevents unnecessary damage to the cylinder screw.
