Cylinder lock SKG** 30 - 50 mm - Per Piece
Protecting your home properly starts with using a reliable cylinder lock. You can do this with our security cylinders that have a SKG** CE Certificate! These cylinder locks are constructed in such a way that drilling out is no longer possible, thus providing your front door with a high-quality security cylinder. Replacing the cylinder lock is a simple job, you can do it yourself without having to call a locksmith.
SKG** cylinder locks 30 - 50 mm
This 30 - 50 mm euro cylinder has a total length of 80 mm. These profile cylinders have a hole with internal Screw thread for the supplied cylinder screw, this hole is under the carrier where there is 30 mm space on one side and just 50 mm length on the other side. It does not matter for security which side should be facing outwards, both sides are provided with the drill protection. We supply 3 keys and a cylinder screw with this profile cylinder. When you open the door and look on the face side of the door, you will see here a screw with phillips head impression that secures the cylinder in the mortise lock. Loosen this screw and the cylinder will be loose in the lock. Next, insert the key in the cylinder and turn it around a very small Piece. Now the cylinder will come loose by gently pulling on it.
Now that the old cylinder lock has been removed, you can insert the new cylinder s. To do this, insert the key into the cylinder and turn it a little Piece to make the Black "carrier" disappear into the cylinder. You then insert the cylinder lock into the lock of the door. When you can turn the door to lock, it is far enough and use the fixing screw to anchor the cylinder back into the lock. Our advice is never to turn the screws with the drill, but with a screwdriver loosen and tighten them. This prevents unnecessary damage to the cylinder screw.
