This is because the ball bearing drawer runners use what is known as a ball cage. These contain small balls that ensure that the drawers slide in and out precisely, quickly and almost silently. A set of ball bearing drawer runners includes two drawer runners and two drawer rails. These are without fasteners, but can easily be ordered in addition. Our chipboard screws Galvanised 3 x 16 mm are a good choice here. The advantage of these screws is that you can screw them into your drawers (cabinet) without pre-drilling. You then only need a torx screwdriver with TX10 drive or drilling machine with a Torx TX10 bit to do this. If your Drawers (cabinet) is made of Hardwood, we do recommend pre-drilling. This can easily be done with our 2 mm hardwood drill bits. 

How do I install the ball bearing drawer runners?

Step 1: Pull out the runners completely.
Step 2: At the back of the inner rail, you will now see a little black lever. Push this upwards to remove the rail from the guides.
Step 3: Now install the drawer runners at the desired height on the inside of the cupboard.
Step 4: Install the loose rail to your drawer, at the height of the drawer runners on your cupboard.
Step 5: Please now slide the drawer with the drawer rails back into the drawer runners.

Please make sure that the drawer and drawer runners are always mounted straight. We therefore recommend using a spirit level for this. In addition, it is important that the space between the drawer and the frame is at least 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm wider than the thickness of the guide.
