The face masks are equipped with a valve, latex-free straps, and an aluminium nose clip. The FFP1 mask filters out at least 80% of the hazardous substances that emerge during, for instance, grinding. Among others, it protects against smoke and harmless particulate matter. 

Which dust mask do I need?

The acronym FFP means “Filtering Face Piece” and the numbers (1, 2, 3) indicate the effectiveness of the filter. FFP 1 is the lowest classification and protects against 80% of particulates circulating in the air. This type of mask is suitable for environments with moderate contamination, and is not suitable for use in toxic environments or for working with dangerous substances such as asbestos.
