2. Overlap the sections where necessary, keeping an overlap of at least 10 cm. Tip: on one section, fold the protruding piece inwards a bit and lay the other side over it. 
3. Press the alternative lead flashing well. This can be done with a pressure roller if necessary. We recommend using a pressing roller for the overlap parts anyway, as this strengthens the two parts better.
4. If the upper part falls on an upright wall, such as a chimney, finish the upper edge with a line of EPDM adhesives.
