EPDM Contact adhesive 5l

Have you just bought EPDM foil and want to bond it? Then you need a good EPDM contact adhesive. At Wovar, we have a very well adhesive contact adhesive in 1l and 5l jugs. What makes this EPDM contact adhesive quite unique is that it is suitable for virtually any surface material and therefore always ensures optimum adhesion. So you can glue it directly to Wood, various insulation boards and to a metal construction. For gluing roof drain outlets or finishing edges, we recommend our smaller 290ml EPDM adhesives, these in combination with our caulking gun ensure easier and accurate application.

EPDM adhesives

EPDM contact adhesive is used to secure the EPDM foil to the roof surface, as our EPDM contact adhesive is of very high quality, it is suitable for almost any Surface material. The use of the EPDM adhesives depends on the surface material, but is around 200 ml per square metre. 

The EPDM adhesives are easy to apply using a paint roller. For ease of use, pour the adhesive into a paint tray or buckets. Before gluing roof foil, it is important to sweep away as much dust and other residue as possible with a broom or brush. This way you will get the strongest adhesion and avoid unsightly unevenness in the roof surface. For an even tighter look, use the EPDM Roller so that the EPDM is perfectly tight on your roofs.

Storage advice for contact adhesive

To store this roof adhesive in the best possible conditions, it is important to take a few things into account. First, it is important to store this glue at a temperature between +5 and +25 °C. It is also important to keep the contact adhesive out of close sunlight. The EPDM adhesives have a shelf life of about 12 months. After this time, the adhesive strength may decrease and it is not recommended for use.
