With this expansion bolt M10 x 90 mm for pre-drilling installation, it is possible to fix material in different surfaces. This expansion bolt can not only be used in concrete, but can also be attached in natural stone, solid and hollow masonry, sand-lime brick and light concrete blocks. The expansion bolt is placed by means of pre-mounting, which means that you first pre-drill a hole in the wall and then in the material to be attached. This makes it possible to easily attach the material after the expansion bolt has been placed.

Drill a hole in the wall 65 mm deep with a 16 mm concrete or hammer drill bit. Then place the expansion bolt in the hole and, if necessary, carefully hit it with a hammer until the expansion bolt with the top cylinder is in the wall. The side with the nut and washer will therefore be just outside the wall. Then tighten the nut firmly with a size 17 ring spanner. You will see that the expansion bolt does not turn. As the nut is tightened, the bolt expands on four sides and attaches securely to the wall. It is possible to attach material up to 10 mm thick.
