Use carriage bolts M8 x 90 or coach screws M10 x 30 for securing the wood in the bracket. Combine these fasteners with 8 mm hardwood drill bits for the carriage bolts and 6 mm for the coach screws.

How to build a log store

The bracket is suitable for wooden posts of 7 x 7 cm. These form the vertical supports that the wood leans against. At the bottom, you can insert a beam of 4.5 x 7 cm in front and back, on top of which the wood is stacked. We recommend installing a bracket every 2 meters for maximum strength. To make a simple 2 x 2 wood rack, you require four 7 x 7 cm posts of 2 meters and two 4.5 x 7 cm beams of 2 meters.

Use carriage bolts or coach screws to fasten the brackets. Insert these into the mounting holes, which all have a diameter of 10 mm. The base plate has 4 mounting holes for either post and 1 mounting hole per beam. You can fasten the posts with, for example, 2 carriage bolts per post and the beams with 1 coach screw. However, for the strongest log store, use all the mounting holes.
