Flat Roof Drain Outlet 60x100 - length 40cm
The weather is bad and you are worried about the flat roof that you have just fitted with the best EPDM (ordered via Wovar, of course) without thinking about drainage. Here you can of course use a roof gutter however this does not seem to be possible because of the high bow parts. Fortunately, Wovar has a Flat Roof Drain Outlet Outlet in its range with which you can easily drain off the water through the roof parts into a drainpipe so that you no longer have to worry that your roof will be flooded after a heavy rain shower.
The Flat Roof Drain Outlet with dimensions of 60 mm x 100 mm has an HDPE pipe of 40 cm and an EPDM bib (for a Waterproof finish) of 300 mm x 300 mm. This EPDM bib needs to be glued with EPDM contact adhesive to guarantee a waterproof seal. The colour of this Flat Roof Drain Outlet (both pipe and bib) is Black.
Placing Square HWA
First of all, you before ll need to determine the location of the roof drain outlet. This is usually made in the corners of the roof edge or centred.
Next, start laying the EPDM strips until you get to the strip where you want to place this grommet. At this strip start laying until you reach the predetermined location, carefully lay the EPDM and mark with a white marker where you want to place this grommet. Then cut a hole in the EPDM at the right location with a good Snap-off knife, this is where the grommet will be placed.
Then use a good reciprocating saw to make a hole slightly larger than the diameter of the roof edge so that the pipe fits.
To install the roof drain outlet, use our EPDM contact adhesive, which you apply to both the EPDM roof drain outlet and the bib of the roof drain. You smear this over the bib (at the bottom) up to 1 cm from the edges, then press the pipe of the grommet into the hole you have just made and press the bib on. Of course, a roof cannot be missing here. With an EPDM roof, water drainage is important, which is why you naturally use the Flat Roof Drain Outlet Outlet 60x100 ordered from Wovar. This gives you an extra business discount and a useful order overview. For more EPDM articles, also check out our category EPDM.
