Stainless Steel 50 cm Flex Fence Louver Frames for the Garden - 2-Piece Set

Are you looking for a louvered frame in your garden? With these 50 cm rails, you can easily build an adjustable window, fence panel, or roof. The advantage of these louver frames is that you can change the position of the boards at any time. Open them to allow more sunlight, or close them to create shade and keep out the wind. These flex fence louver frames are made of stainless steel, which means they do not rust. These rails can carry 4 boards, with a maximum length of 180 cm.

Install short flex fence

Installing the 50 cm flex fence rails is easy. You can use the long, sturdy screws that are included to mount the rails to your roof, shed, or free-standing posts. When working with hardwood, we recommend drilling pilot holes with hardwood drill bits. This prevents the wood from being damaged, and the screws from getting stuck. Mount the rails on a stable surface and firmly tighten the screws. This forms the basis of the structure, so it must be able to bear some weight. The rails can be installed both horizontally and vertically.

If the rails are too long for the fence or roof you had in mind, easily shorten them to the desired length with a hacksaw.

Attaching wooden boards

After installing the rails, you can attach the boards to the rails. Use short screws for this, so they will not poke through the boards. When you have installed all the boards, you can move the flex fence into the required position. Since flex fences are mainly used outdoors, the wood will expand and shrink due to the weather. It is therefore important not to tighten the screws too much. Suitable boards for a flex fence louver frame are approximately 1.6 - 1.8 cm thick and 14.5 cm wide. You can deviate from these measurements as you see fit, as long as you use 4 boards.
