Flex Fence Stainless Steel

Are you going to build a porch, gazebo, or fence? Then these stainless steel louver frames might be just what you need. Flex fences consist of rails that you attach wooden boards to. They are basically large shutters and provide shade as well as privacy for your garden or home. The wonderful thing about these flex fences is that they are flexible. By opening them all the way, you let in more light and air. By closing them, you create more privacy and shade. These stainless steel louver systems can be used in a myriad of ways for a wide range of purposes. You can build a fence with these rails and use it as a window, wall, or roof for your gazebo or porch. The possibilities are endless. The flex fence louver systems are available with the following lengths: 50 cm, 95 cm, 165 cm, and 220 cm.

Our flex fences are incredibly versatile. They are mostly used as windows and walls for a patio, gazebo, or porch. Having a (partly) louvered wall or roof creates a unique and modern appearance. Added to that, you can adjust the amount of light and wind that comes in, as well as the level of privacy you want. This also makes flex fences great as a privacy screen. You can even use these frames indoors to section off certain areas in a room.

Assembling a flex fence

In short, this is how you install a flex fence.

  1. Determine where on the post you want the rail.
  2. Attach the rail to the post with the long screws that come with the flex fence.
  3. Measure the distance between the rails and cut the wood to size. Note: the wooden planks cannot be longer than 180 cm.
  4. Use the small screws to attach the wood to the rails. Make sure to secure them all in the same position, this gives the best result.

Are the rails too long for the project you had in mind? Or are you using two rails on top of each other and need to shorten one? You can easily shorten the rails yourself with a hacksaw. It is also possible to only cut the guide rail between the wooden planks to allow different sections of the flex fence to move independently.

In the video below, you can see how to install Flex Fence louver frames.
