Attaching Invisible Shelf Brackets

Because the shelf bracket is provided with screw thread, you can attach it without screws. In stone or concrete walls, you should first drill a hole and use a plug to fasten the bracket. The screw thread is 6 mm thick with a length of 60 mm. This means you can pre-drill with a 10mm drill and use the 10mm plug. Need a drill and plug? You will find them among the related products and in the range of concrete drills and plugs. For mounting in a wooden wall, we recommend pre-drilling with a 5 mm hardwood drill. You can find this drill in the hardwood drill range. Then simply tighten the blind shelf supports in your wall with a ring and open-end wrench 12 mm. 

The next step is to attach the shelf to the brackets. Use planks with a minimum thickness of 22 mm and a maximum depth of 22 cm. Provide your shelf with holes. The carrier is 12 mm in diameter, so the holes in your shelf should not be larger than that, to avoid slack. Simply push the shelf onto the carriers and the shelf is fixed to the wall.

Load Capacity of Floating Shelf Bracket

These strong Galvanised brackets can bear up to 85 kg with an evenly distributed weight. However, this does depend on the quality of the wall, the shelf, and the distance between the brackets. The closer the supports are mounted to each other, the more load-bearing capacity is created. We recommend using a maximum distance of 70 cm. The brackets are also 6 mm adjustable in height. Don't forget to order an M10 washer and 10 x 50 mm nylon plug; the washer and plug are not included with the floating shelf bracket.
