Using the formulas below, you can calculate the corresponding maximum height (H, in mm) and weight (W, in kg) of the flap or door. This only applies to gas struts for a flap or door up.

When using 1 gas strut, you can use this formula: H = 2000/W

When using 2 gas struts at 1 door or flap, the capacity doubles and the formula becomes: H = 4000/W.
