Step 1: Installing the first mounting cam on the inside of your cabinet. Make sure that the top screw hole of the mounting cam is placed at a height of 32 mm and depth of 55 mm.

Step 2:Place the second mounting cam on the inside of your flap. The easiest way to do this is to snap the gas strut to the first cam and fully extend the gas strut. Once fully extended, snap the second mounting cam onto the gas strut. You can now mark the screw holes with a pen or pencil. The screw hole located on the cabinet side will hereby be 84 mm from the inside. 

Will you be securing the gas strut to a cabinet or flap made of Hardwood? Then our advice is to pre-drill the screw holes. By doing this, the screws will easily turn away and you will prevent possible splitting of the wood. However, do not drill the holes more than 10 mm deep. For best results, use our hardwood drill bits 2 mm.
