Ground Screw Extension 63.5 x 330 mm - Per piece

A ground screw has a certain load-bearing capacity, which you can increase by making the foundation deeper. To be able to do this, you will have to increase the length of the ground screw. This extension piece increases the length of the ground screw by 250 mm. The total length is 330 mm, but 80 cm of the extension piece will be inserted in the ground screw. Fasteners are included, so you can get started immediately upon receiving your order.

Load-bearing capacity ground screws

As mentioned before, increasing the length of the ground screw increases the load-bearing capacity as well. You attach this extension piece to the ground screw with M10 bolts, which come with the extension piece. Should you want more than the supplied number of bolts, you can always add additional tap bolts to your order.

In the graph below, you can see the load-bearing capacity of a foundation with ground screws in clay ground. The numbers are an approximation. For sand, the load-bearing capacity is slightly higher, but we recommend not going beyond the weights mentioned in the graph. The deeper the ground screws, the higher the load-bearing capacity.
