Build your own foundation

The first step is to drive the ground screws into the ground. You can do this with the corresponding installation tool. Insert the tool in the ground screw and twist until the ground screw is embedded in the ground. Next, you can fasten the hex top to your wooden posts. Start by drilling pilot holes in the end of the post, so you can easily insert the fasteners. Secure the top with the supplied fastening material. 

When the hex top is attached to the post, you can attach the top piece (with post) to the ground screw. Simply insert the hex top in the ground screw and make sure the mounting holes align. Secure the top piece with the supplied bolt.
