With this 8.0 mm thick hammer fixing you can easily attach slats or beams of maximum 20 mm to the wall. This hammer fixing consists of a high-quality nylon plug and galvanised screw. The fixings are perfect for quick push-through installation. Please note, these fiixngs are not suitable for attaching a supporting beam of, for example, a roof.

You pre-drill these 8 x 45 mm hammer fixings with an 8 mm thick drill. The wood is best pierced with our hardwood drill 8.0 mm. Wovar supplies SDS plus hammer drill bits 8 x 160 mm for drilling the hole in the wall. After drilling, drive the hammer fixing into the wall through the wood. When tapped, the ffixing will pop open and anchor in the wall, keeping the batten firmly in place. These hammer fixings have a PZ-2 cross head, which makes them easy to disassemble.
