HI-LO Galvanised Roof Tile Screws Anthracite 6.3 x 38 mm - Box 250 pieces

These roofing screws are equipped with HI-LO threading. HI-LO threading consists of a double lead with a high and a low thread. A low driving torque, and a reduced chance of stripping screws and splitting wood are some examples of the advantages of this threading. The screws have been coated with a RAL 7016 anthracite layer and are made of galvanised steel. Galvanised steel is incredibly strong as well as rust-resistant. Due to the colour coating, they will match best with anthracite roofing sheets. The roofing screws include an EPDM-ring that creates a watertight seal. 

Installing metal roofing sheets

Install metal roofing sheets yourself with our self-tapping roofing screws. Simply place the screws in the valleys of the roofing sheet. The bottom row requires a screw in every valley. Above that, use screws every other valley. The sides of the roof are where the metal roofing sheets catch the most wind. We recommend placing screws in every valley around the edges of the roof, so the wind cannot get hold of the roofing sheets.

An example: if in row two you put a screw in the second and fourth valley, the third row should be fastened in the first, third, and fifth valley, and so on. Fastening the roofing sheets like this creates a more secure roof.

These roofing screws are so-called tek screws or self-tapping screws, which means they are self-drilling. Pre-drilling is therefore not necessary, saving you a lot of time.
