The Strap Hinge Black with Square holes 120 cm - Half Moon has a beautiful matte black finish. A hinge with square holes has the advantage that the nice round head of the carriage bolt can be seen at the front of the hinge instead of at the back as with a normal hinge.

Always use our black hinge hooks for this hinges with square holes. This provides an identical same matte finish. Place the hinges in the desired location of your construction. Trace the mounting holes and drill the holes with our hardwood drill bit 9.0 mm thick. Determine the desired position of your door so you know where to mount the hinge hook or square hook. The hinge is 6 mm thick and 45 mm wide.

Always use our M8 black carriage bolts for these hinges, they fit exactly in the 6 square holes of the hinge, make sure you calculate the door thickness + 1.5 cm before purchasing carriage bolts. Because this hinge is straight, the garden door will fall slightly outside the door frame.
