The sleeve is thus 60 mm long and 12 mm in diameter. A sieve sleeve is often used in a hollow wall. Before filling the drill hole with a chemical anchor, you must first push this plug into the wall. Then you can fill the plug from back to front, press the front cover on it, and place, for example, a piece of threaded rod. You can order this sieve sleeve per piece!

Inserting Sieve Sleeves

As indicated, a mesh sleeve is placed when using a chemical anchor in a hollow wall. The sleeve becomes, as it were, the housing of the anchor. You simply press the sleeve into the wall after drilling a hole. You can then fill it from back to front with a chemical anchor. As you can see in the picture, the sleeve has a flap on the front. After filling the sleeve, press it firmly. Then you can screw the desired threaded rod into the anchor. Let everything harden well before loading it.
