Are you mounting the magnetic catch on a wooden cabinet? Then you can simply order our galvanised chipboard screws 3 x 16 mm. Is the case made of metal? Then choose our self-tappers in stainless steel  2.9 x 16 mm spherical head. 

In addition, the chipboard screws and self-tapping screws offer the advantage that you do not have to pre-drill holes! For the chipboard screws you only need a drill or screwdriver with a Torx TX10 bit and for the self-tapping screws a PZ1 screwdriver or PH-1 bit.

Is your cabinet made of hardwood? Then it is wise to pre-drill the holes with a 2 mm hardwood drill. 

Attaching a Polar Magnetic Closure

Step 1: Attach the magnetic snapper to the center of the inside of your cabinet.
Step 2: Then mount the counter plate parallel to the door.
