The galvanised drop bar gate latch, sometimes called drop latch, from Wovar not only provides a firm seal for your entrance gate, it is also easy to assemble. In total, the overlapping gate latch has 12 mounting holes. We recommend using a garden screw galvanised 4 x 30 mm in each hole. Place the 2 plates approximately 8 cm apart.

The loose eye that is supplied makes it possible to lock your garden gate with, for example, a padlock. With a gate made of softwood, it is not necessary to pre-drill the galvanised screws. This is recommended for hardwood. Use a hardwood drill bit 3.0 mm for this.
