Plastic Garden Edging

Are you looking for flexible garden edging and the corresponding pegs? Wovar's plastic garden edging sleekly divides your garden into various sections. You can, for example, separate your gravel path or garden bed from the lawn. Is it a winding garden path or round garden bed? No problem! All our plastic garden edging is flexible and can be shaped to fit any bends. You will receive the garden edging on a roll, so you can cut them to size and do not have to connect different parts. The garden borders are UV-resistant, which means they will not change colour when exposed to sunlight. Added to that, they will not rot when in contact with water. In short, with the different colours and these weather resistant qualities, our plastic garden edging is a great option for any garden.

Wovar also offers corten steel garden edging. A special treatment gives these borders their signature rust colour. Curious? Explore our range of corten steel edging .

Wovar's plastic garden edging is available in four different colours: black, grey, taupe, and green. You can use the corresponding pegs to anchor the borders in the ground. The anchor pegs are also available in black, grey, taupe, and green. The border edges have a height of 15 cm, and you can decide for yourself how far into the ground to want them. Keep in mind that they will be more sturdy the deeper you go. The pegs provide additional support and can go even deeper into the ground with their length of 26.7 cm.

Advantages of plastic garden edging

The use of plastic garden edging gives you various advantages, including the following:

  • Plastic borders are very flexible and are therefore easy to use for winding paths or round flowerbeds.
  • Plastic does not rot and will remain in good condition for a very long time.
  • The plastic is UV-resistant, so the colour does not fade in the sun.
  • The plastic garden edgings can easily be cut to size, allowing you to make the whole border in one piece, without having to connect different parts.
  • The border edges are made from recycled material, so you are working with sustainable products.

Installing plastic garden edging

Placing plastic garden edging in your garden is a relatively straightforward job. Dig a small ditch with a shovel or garden trowel. To firmly anchor the border, we recommend a depth of at least 10 cm, with a maximum of 15 cm. Cut the garden edging to size and place it in the ditch. Next, refill the ditch with soil, sand, or gravel and tamp it down well to prevent sagging later on. You can now place the anchor pegs, one every 50 cm. Use a rubber mallet to drive them into the ground and make sure the border edge slots neatly in the peg. The closer together you place the pegs, the sturdier the garden edging will be.

Extend the plastic border yourself

Extending plastic garden edging is a job you can easily do yourself. Cut 10 cm off the border to use as a connector piece. Position the piece behind the two ends you want to connect and fasten it with stainless steel garden screws.
