Postsaver™ Post Protector Sleeve for 120mm Round Posts - Per Piece

Application

The post protector has an outer layer of heavy polyethylene and an inner layer of fusible bitumen. During application with a gas or paint burner, the inner layer melts, so that it adheres firmly around the post. The post protector now fits tightly around the post and acts as a protective layer. Because the Postsaver is applied at the point of air and ground, the post will not rot.

Instructions

Mark the place where you want to apply the protective layer. The post must be thoroughly dry for a reliable bond. Slide the Postsaver around the post at the desired location and burn it with a gas or paint burner. Hold the burner approximately 30 to 40 centimeters from the pole and burn the protector over the entire length. Then let it cool down for a while. You can then place the post in the ground normally and at the desired location.
