Postsaver™ Post Protector Sleeve for Square Posts of 90 x 90 mm - Per Piece

Applying the 90 x90 mm Post Protector Sleeve

The post protector has an outer layer of heavy polyethylene and an inner layer of fusible bitumen. During application with a gas or paint burner, the inner layer melts, so that it adheres firmly around the post. The post protector now fits tightly around the post and acts as a protective layer. Because the Postsaver is applied at the point of air and ground, the post will not rot.

Instructions

With square posts, it is useful to burn side by side. For good adhesion, use a wet paint roller to roll over the Postsaver after it has shrunk to one side of the post. Then repeat this procedure for the next sides until it is snug on all sides. Let the Postsaver cool down for a while, then the post can be used and you can place it in the desired place, normally into the ground.
