Installing Purlin anchors

Fix the purlin anchor effortlessly using our durable fasteners made of Galvanised steel, such as chipboard screws. The screw holes of this purlin anchor have a diameter of 5 mm. Considering fixing on wood, our 4.5 x 50 mm chipboard screws are recommended to prevent wood splitting. This particular Right Purlin anchor features 28 5 mm screw holes, distributed on both sides with 14 screw holes each. For optimum strength, we recommend using 28 screws per Purlin anchor.

Please note: If using Hardwood purlins or ring beams, it is essential to pre-drill with a 3.5mm hardwood drill bit.
