Reed screens on Roll 1 x 3 Metres - Per Roll

With reed screens, you create a unique and beautiful garden screening. The reed screens have a natural yet sleek look and have a screening ratio of up to 80%. The reeds are therefore tightly bound together. This is done with Galvanised iron wire. This Matt is 1 metre high and 3 metres wide. Pictures 1 and 2 give you a good impression of exactly what such a mat looks like. You can easily secure the Matt using wire or cable ties.

Reed Mat

A reed mat is easy to attach to a fence or railing. Roll out the mat, place it against the fencing and secure it with iron wires or cable ties. Note: Make sure that the mat is installed just slightly above the ground, otherwise moisture from the ground can penetrate the mat. It is also important to use a sufficient number of iron wires and to secure the mat both from top to bottom and from left to right.

For securing, use our recommended double-loop iron wires. These are easy to bend around the Matt and around the railing or fencing. You can use the loops to twist the ends with each other. You use a wire turner for this. Hook it through the loop and then tighten the iron wire with one pull and push movement.
