Assembling Surface-Mounted Gate Locks

You simply place this lock on your door, you screw the lock case to the inside of the door so that it is not visible from the outside. The part where the key will come through the door is drilled out with our spade drills. You can cover this later with the supplied rosette for a sleek finish. We also supply a striker plate which you mount on the frame. The bolt comes out more than 2 cm from the lock, this will create a firm closure that cannot be forced open easily. 

Such locks are often combined with a handle, such as, for example, a farmer's latch set or another Gate Lock, Barrel Bolt, or Gate Latches. This also makes it possible to lock the door from the outside.
