The riser for the door stop with side buffer has a diameter of 55 mm and a height of 10 mm. The riser is also made of rubber, so you can also use it outdoors. 

The door stopper extension is supplied including screw material. This includes a screw of 5 x 60 mm and a corresponding plug. You only use this plug if your floor is made of concrete or stone. 

Installing the Door Stop Riser on a Wooden Floor

If you are mounting the door stopper with side buffer and the elevation on a wooden floor, only use the included screws for the elevation. You don't need the plugs in this case either. 

Is your floor made of hardwood? Then we recommend pre-drilling the screw holes. To do this, use a 3 mm hardwood drill bit. This not only ensures that you can easily drive the screws into the floor but also prevents the wood from splitting. 

Step 1: Determine the position of the door stop
Step 2: Mark the mounting hole with a pencil
Step 3: Predrill the hole lightly, about 30 mm deep.
Step 4: Screw the door stopper including the elevation into place with the 60 mm screw.

Mounting the Door Stop with Riser on a Stone Floor

If you are mounting the door buffer with a rubber bumper and elevation on a concrete or stone floor, only use the mounting hardware supplied with the elevation. You also use nylon plugs in this situation. You also need a concrete drill to pre-drill the holes. Use our 10 x 120 mm concrete drill for this.

Step 1: Determine the position of the door stopper
Step 2: Mark the mounting hole with a pencil
Step 3: Predrill the hole, 60 mm deep.
Step 4: Press the plug into the pre-drilled hole.
Step 5: Screw the door stopper including the riser into place.
