The Riser for Stainless Steel Floor-Mounted Door Stops with Side Buffer

The riser for the door stop with side buffer has a diameter of 85 mm and a height of 12 mm. Additionally, this riser is made of rubber. This allows you to use it outdoors without any worries.

This rubber riser is supplied including mounting material. This is a screw 5 x 60 mm, a screw 5 x 80 mm, and corresponding plugs. The supplied plugs are only needed when the doorstop is mounted on a stone floor.

Mounting the Door Stop with Rubber Bumper on a Wooden Floor

If you are mounting the door stop with side buffer on a wooden floor, only use the supplied screws. You do not need the plugs in this case. 

If your floor is made of hardwood, it is a good idea to pre-drill the holes. Use our 3 mm hardwood drill bit for this. This way you can easily screw the screws into the floor and prevent the wood from splitting. 

Step 1: Determine the position of the door stopper
Step 2: Mark the mounting holes with a pencil
Step 3: Lightly drill the holes, approximately 20mm deep for the outer mounting hole and 40mm deep for the center mounting hole.
Step 4: Screw the doorstop into place with the 50mm screw in the outer mounting hole.
Step 5:  Place the cover on the door buffer.
Step 6:  Use the 70mm screw in the center of the doorstop to fully anchor the cap and doorstop.

Mounting the Door Stop with Side Buffer on a Stone Floor

When mounting the door stop with rubber bumper on a concrete or stone floor, use the supplied screws and nylon plugs. You also need a concrete drill. The nylon plugs are 10 mm wide, so in this case, a concrete drill uses 10 x 120 mm. 

Step 1: Determine the position of the door stop
Step 2: Mark the mounting holes with a pencil
Step 3: Predrill the holes: 50 mm deep for the outer screw and 70 mm deep for the center screw.
Step 4: Press the plugs into the pre-drilled holes.
Step 5: Screw the door stopper into place with the 50mm screw in the outer mounting hole.
Step 6:  Place the cover on the door stop.
Step 7:  Use the 70mm screw in the center of the doorstop to fully anchor the cap and door stopper.
