When you want to screw down this roof edge trimming, you should keep in mind that aluminium is a strong Metal. For this reason it is advisable to pre-drill. Use a metal drill bits for this. If you choose to take the Wovar ready-made solution: the stainless steel self-tapping screws stainless steel with nylon ring 4.8 x 32 mm, use a 3 mm metal drill bit, for example. This way, you make it easy for the self-tapping screws to penetrate the material, but they still retain their grip. After pre-drilling, the screw will not suddenly slip while screwing in, which would unnecessarily damage your roof edge trims. You are advised to secure the roof edge trims corner with 2 screws on both sides.
