Round head nails stainless steel A4 - 3.1-3.4 x 55 mm - Box 200 pieces
Are you planning to install facade cladding? Then use these round-headed ring nails for fastening. Round Head ring nails have been specially manufactured for mounting gunwale planks or Swedish rebate on, for example, your facade or fence posts. The ring nails have a so-called 'ring wire', which is clearly visible in the product image. This ringed wire ensures an extremely secure fastening as the grooves fill with Wood. As a result, the screws have virtually no chance of coming loose.
Characteristics Round Head Ring Nails
.Wovar's ring nails consist of high-quality A4 stainless steel. This type of steel is resistant to all weather conditions and will therefore not rust. An additional advantage is that A4 stainless steel is resistant to salty air and can therefore also be used in coastal areas. Normal stainless steel will rust in these conditions. This keeps your facade very clean and you will not see any rust stains on the mounting points. The Round Head of this nail is approximately 6 mm wide. Also, this screw has a very Sharp point, making it unnecessary to pre-drill.
.Installing rivets
Mounting a ring nail is quite simple. Preferably use an impact-resistant Nylon hammer when hammering in the nails. This will reduce damage to the action of the Stainless steel when installing. For installing ring nails, we hereby list some more useful tips:
.- For the right size round head nail, always choose a nail that is at least 2.5 times the thickness of the Wood you are using. Is the board 16 mm thick? Then you will therefore use a ring nail at least 40 mm long.
- If the wood you are using is 90 mm wide, then 1 nail in the middle will suffice. If the board is wider than 90 mm, install the board with 2 nails on top of each other.
- Be aware that Wood is a natural product and can therefore work. Wood can shrink or expand due to temperature differences. Therefore, never install too tightly, to prevent splitting of the wood.
